AFB Convertor

I designed and built a desktop application that significantly streamlined the process of integrating bank data into our Sage XRT system. This application addresses the challenge of converting and enriching bank files (AFB format) by automating the transformation of data from a user-friendly Excel format. The application takes an Excel file, extracts the relevant information, and uses it to modify the existing AFB file, generating a new AFB file that includes all the supplementary details required for seamless import into Sage XRT. This process eliminates the manual, time-consuming, and error-prone task of manually editing AFB files. The application logic ensures data accuracy and consistency between the original Excel data and the final AFB file. By automating this conversion and enrichment process, the application reduced data processing time, improved data quality, and minimized the risk of errors associated with manual data entry, ultimately facilitating a more efficient and reliable bank data integration workflow with Sage XRT. The application was developed using C#, .NET Framework, DevExpress,SQL server, ensuring its robustness and maintainability.
